HAHA! I have found another uniquely named tomato. When a plant variety is new, I am intrigued, not only by the name but by the possible deliciousness. Once again, Marcia Dillion, known as the tomato lady, was the grower of this tomato. There are so many varieties at select plant sales and farmers' markets. This plant was purchased at the Bellevue Demo Garden plant sale.
Bred by Russ Crowe, this technicolor tomato's colors range from purple, mahogany, olive, and pink to coral and gold! The heart shape averages 8-12 ounces with a mild, sweet, "umami flavor that will "wow" you. Stop by my plot X5 to see this beauty.
